Deciding which OS is more suitable??
Two OS came into consideration; Redhat 6.2 and ParallelKnoppix 2.9.
They were taken into consideration mainly because they are compatible with our old computers (let's not forget the Slave Computers are Pentium 3).
Most of the Beowulf Clusters that have been built, used Redhat 6.2. ParallelKnoppix 2.9 come with packages required for the cluster, so there is no hassle of installing all the packages separately.
